EMERGENCY 'FIRST AID' 6 June to 6 july today- heat exhaustion tomorrow-heat stroke and active first aid treatment is directed towards. Published By-y.k yadav

Heat exhaustion ,never occurs apart from exposure to heat.
It occurs as a result of unsuitable clothing.
SYMPTOMS-Heat exaustion comes on suddenly,after preliminary giddiness with fainting and pallor.
Treatment-preventive
if exposed to sun and heat,the same precautions as for sunstroke should be taken.
Loose sensible clothing should be worn and large quantity of water should be drunk.

EMERGENCY 'FIRST AID' 6june to 6july 2011 today-sunstroke tomorrow-heat exhaustion posted by- y.k yadav

Sunstroke is an unsatisfactory term for a condition which arises as a result of the combind effects of the direct light and heat rays of the sun on,or through,insuffiently protected surfaces of the body.
TREATMENT-This is largely preventive.skin surfaces should be protected by suitable clothing.
Sun helmelts and spine pads should be worn when exposure to the sun is necessary or expected.
Protect eye nerves by glasses.

Emergency 'First aid' 6june to 6july 2011. Today -antidotes and common poison in India, tomorrow-effect of heat posted by -y.k.yadav

The simplest antidote for general use is milk.if milk not available then give water.
Nature of poison is definitely known and antidotes is immediately available.
1.for corrosive acids like sulphuric acid,HCL,2 table spoonful of magnesia powder.
2.For carbolic acid (phenol) ane disinfectant -8 table spoonful of liquid paraffin.
3.for iodine .starch paste.
Note-all above with pint of water(a measure of liquid,0.57 of a litre).
COMMON poison in india.
1.Arsenic and opium(largest no. Of death)
treatment-give an emetic,white of egg or warm ghee to drink.in severe case give treatment for shock.i.e hot bottles and stimulants.
2.Datura poisoning
give an emetic .apply warmth ane artificial respiration if necessary.
